ENGAGEMENT RING – she wants you to bankrupt yourself buying a solitaire diamond the size of a small moon, bright enough to make her friends go blind, when they glimpse it…
WEDDING – MUST be like a fairy tale with prancing ponies and white doves and cherubs…
“I FELL IN LOVE WITH MY MAN JUST THE WAY HE IS, AND WOULDN’T CHANGE HIM FOR THE WORLD” – LIES, ALL LIES!!! Guys, you know I’m right… As soon as the “commitment” starts, they start changing you… Telling you who you can hang out with, what you should wear, where you MUST take her, “why haven’t you called me 15 times a day???”…
So, come on Ladies, WHY DO YOU LIE SO MUCH??? And then get upset when your men decide to dump you??? Perhaps you need to stop being so demanding…

Gee I must be a guy then. why didnt anyone tell me this before. I have been dressing like a chick for the last 26 years.
Not everyone is like this and i am hoping that not every guy is like my ex husband cause if they are then we are all in trouble

anyway, they lie* because it has become somewhat of a cultural norm to have extravagant valentines/engagement rings/weddings and it is unseemly to ask for these things directly thus men are supposed to do these things willingly and unasked. it’s like, social protocol–didn’t you get the memo?
Had a bad female experience have we? Never mind, but do yourself a favor & don’t tar all women with the same brush cos we’re not all liars any more than all you men are!

Engagement – When my bf (current husband) asked me to marry him we were both young. He didn’t have enough money to buy me a diamond ring, so I told him I don’t want one bcs he means more to me than a diamond ring. now I have the money but I don’t care about the diamond ring I still don’t have one and I don’t care about having one. I have more precious things in my life.
Wedding – I didn’t lie about a fairy tale wedding but I knew that my fiance can not afford all the expenses so we both agreed on combining both of our money to make this day the most beautiful day “on a specific budget” (and it was) but I did not lie about it. and of course we did not go overboard like a lot of ppl would.
Valentines Day – I don’t care if I stay home or not as long as it is romantic. But we go with friends to celebrate. I just want my flower “doesn’t have to be a bouquet”.
So I don’t lie, I hate being lied to. Sorry if you feel this way.
If a woman asks her Man “husband” for something special it doesn’t mean that she is being demanding. He should know her enough to know what she wants and he can just try “with a budget” to make it happen. Same goes to both. A little effort in a relationship helps.
