i guess it depends what time of day it is. and where it is. I don’t think its bad luck to wear black at a wedding. my bridesmaids are wearing black tea length dresses. very pretty. day weddings are bit more casual so you may not want to show up with a floor length prom type gown. a cocktail dress knee Length a with straps, halter, or strapless would all be completely appropriate
You’d wear a dress or pantsuit. How fancy your attire is depends on the standard dress of the occasion. For example, for a casual summer afternoon wedding, you could wear a sun dress. For an evening black tie wedding, you’d wear a formal floor-length dress.
I don’t got to church, so that doesn’t apply to me. There are some churches where it’s okay to wear jeans, but most people dress up for church, at least a little. For a wedding, it depends entirely on the occasion. For my friend’s afternoon wedding, I wore a pink knee-length floral dress. For my cousin’s evening formal wedding, I wore a black and white floor-length dress with spaghetti straps and wrap.
A simple dress for a wedding, it can be modern but just not black as its bad luck and OBVIOUSLY not white.
and for church you can wear a nice skirt and top. Simple and classy
